New VP of Marketing appointed for Africa

Ken Lister, Guillermo Guzman and Tony Marchesini Cape Town – South Africa. November 30, 2011. Ken Lister, Financial & Operations Director for H2O International South Africa accepted the Position of VP Marketing – Corporate Sponsorships – Africa in a meeting in H2OSA’s corporate headquarters in Cape Town. Ken has been actively involved with the Foundation since Tony Marchesini first joined the organization in 2010 and is very excited about the Foundation and its potential for growth in Africa.
Having been involved in the financial world for many years Ken took it upon himself to set up a bank account for the foundation with Standard Bank for the purpose of fundraising in Africa and will work with PayGate to set up on-line donations which will be linked to the account.
He is currently working with Toyota to get them to sponsor a 4 x 4 to deliver Hydraid units in surrounding developing areas and will expand the corporate sponsorship efforts to other companies in South Africa.
A formal proposal was presented to the General Manager of Toyota Nelis van der Merwe today for consideration by the board. We are looking forward to a favorable outcome.
