Deerfield Beach, Florida – November 11, 2011.  Key members of the Foundation attend the Aquatech show in Amsterdam to continue creating awareness amongst water industry peers.  Guillermo Guzman, Founder; Issa Al-Kharusy, Senior VP – Strategic Development & Global Marketing; Kurt Peterson, VP of Marketing – Strategic Donor Relations & Media and Denise Al-Kharusy Marketing Director – Corporate Sponsorships were present at the recent Aquatech show Nov. 1 through Nov. 4.

Kurt, Issa, Guillermo & DeniseKurt, Issa, Guillermo & Denise  Members of the Foundation had a chance to mingle with fellow Water Quality Association (WQA) members exhibiting at the show and with other industry members.  The Aquatech show which occurs every two years is one of the largest shows of its kind and attracts visitors from all over the world.

Issa Al-Kharusy had a chance to present the Foundation’s goals and plans for the future in front of an audience at the AquaStage in Hall 2 on November 3rd.  There, Issa explained to its audience what drove us to start the Foundation and how it is imperative that all industry members join in the effort so that the effort becomes “An Industry Effort”Issa and Guillermo at AquaStageIssa and Guillermo at AquaStage 

“All of us have benefitted from this industry and it is time we give back to those who lack access to clean safe drinking water.  After all, that is what our industry is all about” said Al-Kharusy.

Key members of the WQA were also present at the Aquatech show.  The Foundation will continue its grass-root efforts to bring the Industry and the Association together to endorse and support the work of the Foundation.
