Paragon Water Systems Makes a Sizeable Donation to WWIFDeerfield Beach, FL – September 1, 2012. Paragon Water Systems of Clearwater, Florida; a long time supporter and WWIF Platinum Sponsor since the Foundation’s inception, has donated 10,000 filters for use in sports bottles. The donation of the filters follows a donation made in 2011 of 10,000 stainless steel sports bottles. The filter is designed to improve taste and remove bacteria from the water. It can be used in the bottles donated by Paragon or the newly designed WWIF bottle after changes to the cap are made to accommodate the filter. Both bottles are currently available in the Water Store part of the website. To purchase a bottle, visit http://www.wishingwellintl.org/pages/water_store.html. The filters with new cap will available for purchase by November 1.

“We appreciate everything Paragon is doing for the Foundation. The product is very useful and will allow people to use water from potentially contaminated sources while traveling or performing any outdoor activity. Everyday use is encouraged, even with tap water,” said Guillermo Guzman, WWIF Founder. “This is a significant donation that could allow the Foundation to raise $25,000 (USD) to fund more Hydraid filters in developing areas.

A heartfelt thank you to Paragon CEO George Lutich for his commitment to WWIF,” added Guzman.

Hydraid water filters offer a simple, clean alternative (www.hydraid.org). The eight-pound plastic filter can provide a family of four with up to 50 gallons a day of clean water. The filter uses gravity, so it requires no power, has no moving parts to replace and lasts about 10 years. It removes more than 99.9 percent of parasites and more than 90 percent of all bacteria and viruses in water.

To donate a Hydraid filter or a portion thereof, visit www.active.com/donate/HydraidFilter. One filter provides clean, safe drinking water for an entire family.
